Born May 23 1969. Graduate of the Waterloo musical academy (flute) with Pierre Coulon 1980 - 1987, studied Jazz at the Lethbridge University, Canada 1987 - 1988, chamber music at Waterloo musical academy 1988 - 1990 and harmony & improvisation at the Conservatory of Namur with Pierre Van Dormael and Nathalie Loriers. At the same time he was graduating in social sciences at the Brussels University. In June 1996 he received First prize at the Royal conservatory of Brussels, jazz section (flute, saxophone) with Steve Houben.
