Julie is a classically trained pianist with a progressive musical vision. Her musical career has led her on a journey from classical music to hip-hop, as well as contemporary music to rock and jazz.

Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Liège, Julie obtained her first prizes in piano and chamber music in 2002. She also explored free improvisation with Garrett List and contemporary jazz with Michel Massot’s ‘Rock de chambre’. Julie has also studied with Kris Defoort, Jozef Dumoulin, Fabrizio Cassol …

Julie plays / has played with Cruz controL (progressive jazz-rock - compositions / Fender Rhodes), King Lee (funk/hip-hop with Pavé from Starflam - synths / sampler), Triginta (6 hands piano – contemporary music), Algarade: piano-bass duet, Matters (soundpainting collective).
