Laura Lahera chant She studied at the Art School of La Plata and later on in Buenos Aires, at the Theatre San Martin’s Conservatory Manuel de Falla with lyrical singers Rina Negri et Maria Fullin. She then begin to sing as a mezzo soprano at the Theatres Colon, Cervantes and San Martin in Buenos Aires, showing at the same time an interest for jazz, tango and Brazilian music. Between 1980 and 1990 she tours in Europe and Asia ("Copacabana" in Tokyo, “Peninsula” in Hong-Kong, “Casino de Montecarlo”...). Now she sings with the tango combo of bandoneonist Alfredo Marcucci and in duo or quartet with Fulvio Paredes. They where invited by the Belgian orchestra “I Fiaminghi" to participate to the shows "Tango, la elegía de quienes ya no son" and “Maria de Buenos Aires”.
