Eve Beuvens initially wanted to play bass and then at 13, she preferred to play the piano because it seemed to require less force! She was directly attracked by jazz music. Then she follows the lessons of Nathalie Lori. After a degree in philosophy, she enter to the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussel. She studied at Diederick Wissels, John Ruocco, Kris Defoort, Garrett List and John Taylor (as an Erasmus student in Cologne). She graduated from the Conservatory in 2005. She released her first album «Noordzee» on the label Igloo in 2008 quartet with Joachim Ba- denhorst, Yannick Peeters and Lionel Beuvens. She currently plays in the quartet of saxophonist Cezaruisz Gadzina and Sidewinders, quintet dedicated to hard bop jazz.
